The maker,
with the patience
of a watcher
I came to weddings through editorial fine art photography, so I'm naturally drawn to beautiful light, thoughtful composition, and the small details that give a day its character. What I love most about weddings is that they are not perfect or predictable. They are full of movement, emotion, and moments that could never be planned.
I stay close enough to notice the held hand, the parent looking away, the people you will want to remember exactly as they were, the unfinished laugh, and the glance exchanged across a crowded room; but far enough that the day still belongs to you. Your photos are taken with intention, while retaining your celebration's true essence.
The result is photography that holds onto what the day was really made of. It brings you back to the room, the people, the energy, and all the small moments unfolding around you while you were busy living them.
